Course Description
Journey through the human body, unraveling its mysteries. This is the invitation of the extension project "Human Anatomy in Cadavers Lab in Milan through HMK - Switzerland to HMK students, extra curricular courses.
The initiative, coordinated by the Director of the HMK Institute, Dr. Patrícia Munhoz Lopes, who has a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy in Italy.
Its objective is to show and complement the knowledge acquired in the classroom.
Get to know, up close, the structure and organization of the human system. Organs, bones, and body parts are demonstrated on Frozen anatomical parts. With this, "the participants have the opportunity to pick up a bone component, see a cadaver, the brain, the texture and consistency, and also do the Dissection with a specialized Anatomist. They not only satisfy their natural curiosity, but also see the material they are studying in a tangible way", explains the coordinator.
The activities developed in the Anatomy Laboratory in Milan A job that requires preparation and offers challenges, such as adapting the language to the target audience. "When I see that I'm using too many technical terms, I have to go back and adapt the vocabulary to their everyday life. Each course in Cadaver Lab will depend on the topic of the course.
For example, we will have study in head and neck facial harmonization, anatomy and physiology of the subcutaneous and visceral adipose tissue and its aponeurosis and fascia.
